Well I was on my way to San Diego today but thanks to 5 inches of snow the whole state of NC shuts down and my flight got canceled....after I waited 2.5hrs at the airport. What a hassle.

We also got news that they want to send Chase home this week! Thats great news but I'll be in San Diego!! So now Im hoping either A) my flight cancels for tomorrow or B) I can get a flight home Wed night or Thurs. We'll see.

Boys look good though. Over 5lbs! Picture of me holding both!

Everything's been going well since the twins were put in a crib together. Its so fun to walk in there and see what they're doing and wearing.

Sarah breastfeeds Chase, then I hold Chase while she can breastfeed Noah. Then we put them both back in the crib to sleep. Thats how the days going now!

Chase's bloodwork has ben coming back good lately. He stopped going down at about 20 (amenia level) and now is back up to 22. So far so good.

Forgot to upload this cool picture!

Today they put the boys into a crib for the first time together. So cool to see them near each other.

Noah still has some oxygen issues, dipping into the 60's and 70's. Chase is still anemic and we're going to talk to the doctor tomorrow. Our choices with Chase seem to be a shot he has to talk for 10 days (to kick start red blood cell development) or a blood transfusion. Not easy choices to choose between.

We're been praying for help in the decision.

Today is the day! The twins were moved to Rex at 8pm tonight!

They are now on the same road as we live on! The 40 minute each way commute has been replaced with a 2min drive. Free parking too.

We met the new staff tonight and stayed about 2hrs.

Chase has been trying to breast feed this week...not going great. He drinks a couple sips and goes straight to sleep.

Noah is off pretty much everything now, and we're hoping it stays that way.

All in all, it was a good day.

Great news today! Noah has no kidney issues with his infection! What a relief.

Noah peed on me today when I was changing him though, funny.

Next step is we get these guys to Rex!

Sarah starting going to the hospital by herself today for the first time...in the AM. Then I meet her up there at night after I work.

When I got there I didnt even know she was holding both at the same time! So funny to see. Chase just sits there and looks around. Noah moves around a lot and never seems comfortable.

I held Noah today for awhile.

Tomorrow they test Noahs kidneys. If positive he may have to have surgery. We so hoping thats not the case.

Noah came off his CPAP this weekend! And he also made it into an Isolate like Chase did. We're so thankful. Noah does have an infection though, we're getting more info tomorrow.

Chase is still cruising through.

There was a baby that came into our NICU pod who was born with his intestines outside his body! Boy is that scary. Praying for that one.

This weekend also was our baby shower. Mom and Rachel came in for it from San Diego. Also Sarahs mom and Emily and her family were here. Very fun weekend. Friday night we ate dinner at Hayes Barton. Sat at 3pm was our shower, got to see a ton of friends there.

When mom and Rachel left the babies on Sunday night they were both in tears. Very sad they couldn't be closer.
